How is a project structured in Woven?

Projects in Woven are organized into a hierarchical structure:

  1. Levels
These are the broadest units, representing major stages or themes in the project.  Each level has a group of modules.

  2. Modules
Each level is divided into several modules, which focus on specific topics or skills within that level. Each module has a group of assignments. An example of a module is Language Foundations or Writing Styles.

  3. Assignments
Within each module, there are assignments.  These are groups of similar tasks.  An example of an assignment might be all of the verses that need to be edited for one book or one chapter of the Bible.

  4. Tasks
Each assignment is broken down into tasks, which are smaller, actionable steps. These tasks guide contributors through completing the assignment systematically. An example of a task might be a single Bible verse.
